Louie was born in 1942 in Corning, NY, when the nation was 11 months into WWII. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic school and went to a Catholic seminary in the 9th grade, although he would say that he didn’t enjoy that very much. He then finished his grade-school education at Corning Free Academy in 1960.

After graduation, Louie joined the U.S. Air Force in January of 1961. Training to be a part of an intelligent outfit (aka, a spy), he then served for 3 years in Germany in the 7,000 Support Wing as a draftsman-illustrator. In 1964, he was honorably discharged.

After coming home, Louie began college at Corning Community College and received his Associate of Arts degree before finishing his Bachelor's degree at the State Teachers College in Mansfield, PA. This is now known as Mansfield University. Making the choice to continue his education, he received his Master of Education from Mansfield as well and completed an additional thirty post-graduate hours.

With this experience behind him, Louie became a high school teacher in Corning for nearly thirty years and chose to move to Florida to enjoy retirement. However, he once again found himself teaching at a Christian high school for ten more years in the sunshine state. While serving very briefly as a professor at the University of Central Florida in 2005, a desire was laid on his heart to begin the first draft of what is now known as “Speaking With God’s voice.”

Louie believed in Christ for salvation in 1972, marking a dramatic change in his life. Realizing that he was a doomed sinner, he made the decision to commit his life to Jesus. Louie and his wife, Wanda, have been married for more than fifty-eight years and have had six children. However, in January of 2004, one of their daughters tragically passed away. This was devastating to the family, as one would imagine. This happened while Louie was teaching in Florida. However, his faith in Christ was the stable foundation of his life, and he and his family remained faithful through this time.

Through the years, Louie has served in his local church as a deacon, Sunday-school superintendent, and helped support many spiritual endeavors of the public schools. In 1982 he joined with local Christian leaders to develop a K-12th grade Christian school that is still in operation to this day. Even now, he actively participates in his local church as a small group leader.

During his time teaching, Louie learned to love debate and discourse. He enjoyed teaching students the power of speaking effectively. He began to note the way he commonly saw pastors speak and communicate. He realized that there were many “good” sermons that were preached, but only a very few “great sermons.” It seemed to him that many pastors violated the basic rules of discourse, and this bothered him. As time went on, this observation and the Lord's prompting laid the groundwork for the concepts found in his book, “Speaking with God’s Voice.”

Louie's firm belief and passion is that while “unction” (God’s anointing) is available to ALL believers, many do not receive it. They do not use basic oratory skills, or they don’t know them. Most importantly, they do not use God’s prescribed biblical method of delivering his “great” word. Through many years of hard work and writing, Louie has completed his work and prays that believers all over the world would be more equipped to deliver God’s words of life.
